The following applies to storage: 'To measure is to know'

28 August 2019

To measure is to know: that applies to every entrepreneur. It is also important in the arable farming sector to constantly measure, weigh and compare. This can ultimately be the difference between a good, moderate or bad balance per hectare. That is why Hazera advises to put bags with harvested product (during storage) between the heap in storage.

Before you place these bags between the harvested product, you must first weigh them. If they are then weighed again during sanding, the tare and also the weight loss can be determined. Every percent loss is money, because it has been fertilized, sprayed, harvested, transported and dried.

A few percent more dehydration or some extra tare can therefore be quite expensive. For example, a high gross harvested product can be quite disappointing during sanding.

The properties of storage varieties
Hazera's storage varieties are mainly known for their heavy specific weight, very good storage properties, low tare figures and limited percentage of drying. In short: the storage varieties of Hazera guarantee a high yield in storage.
