Marianne Thieme explains her position as party leader of the Party for the Animals. She announced this on Sunday during a party meeting of the Party for the Animals in the House of Representatives.
Thieme will leave the House of Representatives on 8 October, the party announced. Member of Parliament Esther Ouwehand will take over the party chairmanship.Â
No final ending
Thieme herself indicates that this step, after 17 years of political leadership, does not definitively end her political career. Outside parliament, she says she will continue to work for her ideals. She will remain associated with the Party for the Animals and will occupy another position within the party.Â
Marianne Thieme is one of the founders of the Party for the Animals. After the November 2006 elections, she took a seat in the Lower House, the Party for the Animals then won 2 seats in the House.

I am not against good farming. And that is a sustainable ecological farming system and NOT the current unsustainable conventional system!.
I eat meat (organic of course. I don't have a big income but just eat a really good piece of organic meat three times a week, but not that nasty fried chicken, antibiotic pork steak or milked cow meat. Long live a real organic farming system and the fake farmers go nice move to Canada or something so you can nail things there!
Is the Netherlands nicely cleaned up by itself?
