The Farmers Defense Force will protest again in 4 weeks if nothing is done with the action points it submitted to the minister on Tuesday 1 October. Agractie even wants a response from the minister to proposals from the organization within 2 weeks.
"We have set an ultimatum of 4 weeks. If the cabinet does not act within this period with action points that we have submitted, we will protest again," said Sieta van Keimpema, spokesperson for the action group. "We want the House of Representatives to attach concrete action to the protests."
Requirements
A concrete point is that the cabinet is not allowed to take a position on the nitrogen report of the Remkes committee until it has consulted with farmers' representatives. "Like LTO Nederland, we want to discuss this, because it appears that farmers do not have enough confidence in LTO Nederland," says Keimpema.
Other demands of the action group include cost-effective prices for producers and not surrendering livestock because of the nitrogen approach. Unfair trade agreements must also disappear: what cannot be produced here cannot be consumed here.
€17,5 million
Bart Kemp of Agractie presented a plan to Minister Schouten in which it is described in detail what Agractie wants: "There is a budgetary basis that we want €17,5 million every year. We want to use that for fair teaching packages at school and fair prices for the farmer. I want a response from the minister within 2 weeks," says Kemp. Reports are now circulating on social media that farmers want to block Schiphol on October 29 if no action is taken from politics.

Yesterday we all saw what unanimity among farmers can lead to. Only compliments. Continue to speak with one mouth and stand shoulder to shoulder. It was an honor for me to be present on the Malieveld in The Hague on behalf of the Zeeuwse ZLTO departments. But am I reading the above correctly? Is Sieta van Keimpena now trying to sow division in the ranks the same day? She must have been misquoted I hope.
