Gelderland farmers temporarily block Natura 2000 area

10 October 2019 - Susan Drenth - 1 reaction

More than 100 agricultural entrepreneurs protested against the new nitrogen policy on Thursday (October 10). The farmers used tractors to block all three access roads to the Wooldse Veen high moor area near Winterswijk.

The farmers are concerned because there are four Natura2000 areas around Winterwijk. As a result, they fear that they will no longer have the opportunity to further develop their companies due to the new nitrogen policy announced by agriculture minister Carola Schouten. The future of the companies is therefore at stake, the farmers fear.

Schouten specifically mentioned Wooldse Veen as an area where nature restoration should ensure less nitrogen emissions. Commissioned by the province of Gelderland, the area has been working for years to degrade nature. This work has now been temporarily blocked by the farmers on Thursday.

Well done farmers, don't let your fertile land be taken away!
This has everything to do with UN Agenda 21.
This means, among other things, total control of the foothold supply by the governments via the multinationals.
Why not less import of feed, no, they can easily turn off that tap.
You can no longer respond.
