Government and farmers are looking for the right wavelength in nitrogen

28 January 2020 - Wouter Baan - 10 comments

On Wednesday 29 January, Prime Minister Mark Rutte and Agriculture Minister Carola Schouten will have an informal discussion with farmers and nature organizations about the nitrogen crisis.

The purpose of the conversation is to get on the same wavelength and to brainstorm about possible solutions. The conversation will take place in the Radio Kootwijk building, in the middle of the Veluwe. Prior to the meeting, Rutte and Schouten first visit a dairy farm. The ministers then go 'on safari' with forest rangers.

The cabinet benefits from quickly having structural solutions to the nitrogen crisis. Next Wednesday, February 5, Rutte and Schouten will also resume talks with the Agricultural Collective. Action group Farmers Defense Force has farmers summoned to travel en masse to The Hague that day. They believe that the government is not keeping to the commitments made at the end of 2019.

Rustaaaah Rutte! We farmers are updating the active memory of the Dutch. Just a few more weeks and then cracked into the black box of the RIVM. Then it's time to chat further. Now go have a nice cup of green tea with Natuurmonumenten and Caroltje. Who knows, maybe something will bloom on Marc.

Would Rutten now also offer the farmers his excuse for what he himself is doing to them, or will that only be possible in 75 years (slime ball)

Talking is useless, the MOB ultimately determines what happens again. Until the legislation is correct, it will remain a sinking ship.

And there are still farmers among us who anonymously (username question mark) on this forum dare to compare ourselves with victims of the holocaust. Shame on you man. Just don't be so pathetic. Make sure you get outside and then also in the village or in the city. Talk not only with other farmers but also with people from other sectors. We are really not the only entrepreneurs who don't always have it easy. Don't just talk yourself into the hole, because the Netherlands has a lot of appreciation for us. Many of us show good entrepreneurship and respond to everything that is going on. But man, am I tired of populist whine that we are being oppressed. Everyone has something to whine about. The people from education about work pressure. The people from the factories about robots taking over the work. The people of the bank about the European interest rate policy. It's all true, but it's still up to you to spot and seize opportunities.

I totally agree with you student! Fortunately, there are also young farmers who do understand. Instead of the FDF people who just scream for attention like a bunch of little kids and then don't start a conversation when they can. And then the 5th shout that no one is listening to them. I have always learned that you will be listened to if you are also willing to listen to others....

Dear student, believe even more what you learn at school, you will certainly never become competent for yourself, but that's how Rutte prefers them

condolences with the truth
We stood there and watched it, democracy and Christian culture has become a multicultural market place.

Rude to the bone.

van den Uyl's work has almost been eaten up from natural gas pipeline for hydrogen transition to woz addicted two-income households with sold social housing and agricultural land to transfer politicians

farmers are just the first, everyone knows we will pay for current decadence as No. 6 on cancer rankings worldwide yet without 5G with glyphosate lobbying bayer, in the land of divide and rule and where ignoring is sold as tolerance, this country is sick
