Milcobel brings in former CEO Campina

Erik de Cock has been appointed as new interim CEO at Milcobel. With this he takes over the torch from Peter Koopmans. De Cock has held his new position since 24 January 2020. 

With De Cock, the Belgian dairy organization says it is attracting a CEO with extensive experience in the dairy sector and cooperatives. Among other things, he held the position of CEO at Campina Belgium and Limelco in Zonhoven. He also has experience in business. He started his career in Finance, after which he grew into various managerial positions.

Last December, De Cock's predecessor Peter Koopmans to end its partnership with Milcobel. His departure is said to be related to the changes Milcobel is making internally. "With this decision, the Board of Directors is sending a signal that the speed of the ongoing change processes must be increased," said chairman Dirk Ryckaert.
