Although BoerBurgerBeweging (BBB) seems to be able to count on a relatively large number of farmers' votes - on Thursday another quarter of the viewers of an agricultural election debate - the party does not reach the electoral threshold in the most recent poll by I&O Research. The VVD remains the largest party with 39 seats, but loses 4 seats compared to 2 weeks ago.
The CDA loses 1 seat in the poll and is now at 18. The new Volt party does have enough votes in the poll for a seat for the first time. More lots will be higher in 2 weeks. JA21, Jan-Cees Vogelaar's party, jumps from 1 to 3 seats in the poll. This is not enough for Vogelaar to enter the House, unless he is elected on the basis of preferential votes.
Left still at a loss
The left-wing parties, with the exception of PvdA (+3), are still at a loss compared to the elections in 2017. Compared to 2 weeks ago, D66 does go from 12 to 14 seats and GroenLinks from 11 to 12 seats.
ChristenUnie, the party of agriculture minister Carola Schouten, loses 2 seats and goes from 7 to 5 seats. SP also loses 1 seat and comes out at 10. Volt now comes to 1 seat, Forum for Democracy goes from 3 to 4 and Think from 2 to 3. Parties that get as many seats in the poll as are at the beginning of February: PVV (19) , PvdA (13), Party for the Animals (5), 50Plus (1), SGP (3).
