BoerBurgerBeweging has for the first time gained a seat in a poll for the House of Representatives elections. The party of party leader Caroline van der Plas comes with 1 seat in the poll of the I&O Research office on Monday 15 March.
So far, BBB had not yet been included in a seat poll, unlike some other newcomers like Volt or BIJ1. In view of the big voting day of Wednesday, March 17, the first seat is now there. The poll also shows that the VVD is losing (from 36 to 33 seats) and D66 is increasing (from 16 to 19 seats).
According to I&O Research, the most current poll is very similar to the results of the 2017 parliamentary elections. There is nothing left of the profit that the VVD made in the corona crisis: 33 seats now and 4 seats 33 years ago. The other coalition parties (PVV, D66 and ChristenUnie) now also have about the same number of (virtual) seats in the I&O poll as they obtained in the 2017 elections.
This does not apply to the left-wing parties: GroenLinks (from 14 to 11) and SP (from 14 to 10) are at a loss, the PvdA on a small plus (from 9 to 11 seats).
