Nils den Besten on board FrieslandCampina

Nils den Besten, dairy farmer in Brandwijk (ZH), succeeds Frans Keurentjes on the board of the FrieslandCampina cooperative. The Members' Council appointed him on Wednesday (16 June) with effect from 14 December 2021. Den Besten will thereby also join the Supervisory Board of dairy group FrieslandCampina.

Keurentjes left as president and was succeeded in that position by Edwin Wunnekink. The vacant place on the board is now filled by Den Besten. He has been appointed for a period of 4 years and can be reappointed. In addition to his dairy farm, Den Besten is also chairman of the supervisory board of AB Midden Nederland. Previously, he was chairman of the youth council of FrieslandCampina for 2 years. 

To further improve the cooperative's effectiveness and agility, FrieslandCampina reports, the number of districts will be reduced from 17 to 2021 with effect from yesterday (Thursday, June 21, 14). 210 members.
