The list of companies that will stop purchasing meat from Gosschalk Slaughterhouse is growing. After McDonald's, several supermarkets have also stopped purchasing meat from the slaughterhouse.
The Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA) closed the slaughterhouse last Friday with immediate effect Closed after images were released about the abuse of pigs and cows. McDonald's has broken ties with Gosschalk definition and will now source the meat from Vion and Ameco, according to the report. AD.
