With Boerenbusiness Internships are possible in various departments. Marin opted for a combination of two departments: Marketing & Sales and Design. "I liked that I could look at several departments. This gave me a broader picture of the company."
How did you come to Boerenbusiness justifiably?
"Boerenbusiness I already knew through my school and friends. So I started following them and reading articles that I found interesting. I also have for Boerenbusiness chosen because I could combine several qualities. Before I went to the agricultural college I did Graphic Design and at DCA Multimedia I was able to perfectly combine both my interests.
What did you do?
"I was busy with various things. For example, I was working in the Sales and Marketing department and I was also allowed to watch the Design department here and there. I worked on a number of large assignments, including making a draft of a test panel for the website Foodbusiness.nl† I was allowed to create a survey, in which I could analyze the opinions about our new platform. So I was allowed to work out the complete package. I was also allowed to participate in various (graphic) expressions of Foodbusiness."
"What I learned most at Boerenbusiness, is that you can't just start anywhere. You have to think carefully about which steps you are going to take and how you are going to do it. Bee Boerenbusiness they let you carry out the steps from concept to product yourself. You start to think about why you are going to research something and how you are going to approach it. Only then do you get started. That may sound logical, but in practice it turned out that I wanted to start almost immediately with a view to the end product, but that step comes later."
What was the best part of your internship period?
"The entire internship period was fun, just like the colleagues. You get a lot of freedom to carry out your own assignments, but you are also guided in this. It was nice to be able to carry out a larger project myself. In addition, I was allowed to participate in smaller projects, so I learned more from all the different departments. Something I wanted from the internship company. All in all, I did a lot because of that. I liked that, despite being in a fixed place, I had the freedom to work in multiple departments For example, in the studio and in the editorial office, I also got a broader picture of the company."
"I find it fascinating to be able to see how things can go within a company. How you can work together and complement each other. That is also important for your future job. Boerenbusiness you really start sparring, so that you also grow in communication with colleagues. That's really something I'll take with me for the follow-up process."
Are the colleagues a bit nice?
"The team is very nice. I immediately joined in. Everyone was open to questions and was willing to explain things, but a nice chat was also possible. Due to the corona measures, we could come to the office less often. colleagues were present, we all went bang. The moments in the office gave me energy. As an intern it can be exciting, because within a company you come to work with permanent employees. Boerenbusiness I was treated like a real employee. I recommend an internship at Boerenbusiness sure to."
