Dairy sector workers agree to extra wages

The employees in the dairy industry will gain several percent in wages in 2 steps. The union members in the dairy have agreed to the agreement between the employers and the unions.

The employers and the unions have agreed, among other things, on a wage increase of 2,5% as of July 1, 2021 and an increase of another 2,5% as of January 1, 2022. In addition, an additional increase of 0,5% has been agreed. Discussions between employers and trade unions will follow about the details of this. In addition, dairy employees receive a one-off payment of €500 gross based on full-time employment.

Also new pension agreements
In addition, new agreements have been made about pensions. These concern, among other things, the indexation of the accrued pensions and an increase in the premium in the industry-wide pension scheme. The regular dairy collective agreements have a term of 2 years. The pension collective agreement has a term of 5 years. The collective labor agreements come into effect with retroactive effect from 1 January 2021.
