The pig market continues to maintain the upward trend of last week. Despite sighs and groans here and there about the rapid price increases, the advance continues. It is a welcome revival for pig farmers. It is to be hoped that the phase of better income that has now begun will continue for a while. The initial situation is good: no large animal numbers and still relatively low slaughter figures. In other words, it cannot be on the supply side.
