Famers Defense Force (FDF) wants to force Minister for Nature and Nitrogen, Christianne van der Wal, to quickly create a testing framework for PAS reporters. After all, according to the Nature Conservation Act, the minister is obliged to establish a legalization program as soon as possible. Time is running out, because the MOB cooperative wants to force the minister to enforce the lack of a permit.
FDF refers to article 1.13a of the Nature Conservation Act (Wnb) as a ground why the minister must take action. Moreover, Article 2.15 of the Nature Conservation Decree lays down the requirements that the program to be drawn up by the minister must meet, according to FDF.
Too slow minister for justice
According to the organization, it follows from the words 'as soon as possible' and the time that has now elapsed that the minister is late. That is why FDF wants to write to the State as soon as possible and, if necessary, take it to court. This with the aim of forcing the minister to adopt the above-mentioned program within a few weeks, on pain of a penalty.
The aim of the action is that the 3.500 PAS reporters can successfully argue that there is concrete prospect of legalization and that enforcement, as MOB wants, is waived.
