Due to high fertilizer price alternative to FarmTrade

Fertilizer prices are skyrocketing. The price of nitrogen-containing and potassium-containing fertilizers in particular has risen sharply. And they also notice this at H. van Oosten Intermediair and Logisitiek BV. They offer an alternative to FarmTrade aimed at the grower; processed animal manure with high levels. 

The demand for good quality manure, with high levels of nitrogen and potassium, is increased by at least 33%† Bart Ottens has been working as a seller of fertilizers and forage at H. van Oosten for a number of years, but has never experienced this question before. "The prices of fertilizers are linked to the - currently historically high - gas prices. Growers who used to make extensive use of fertilizers are now looking for alternatives to reduce costs and still achieve good yields. Arable farmers in particular are asking for tailor-made manure with the right levels. They want to have all the fertilizers they need in one pass so that they can save costs and time."

H. van Oosten has two bio-digesters, which produce high-quality processed manure full of minerals as an end product. The bio-digesters both deliver different end products; Mono NPK Liquid (contains 10 kilo N, 1,5 P and 10 K per cubic meter) and Thin fraction (contains 8,5 kilo N, 2 P and 11 K). Both species have a high nitrogen and potassium content.

Reservations instead of requests
"Usually, requests for fertilizers come in at the end of February, early March, when the spreading season has already started. Due to the gigantic fertilizer prices, the fertilizer has already been reserved for the spring from January. Our good quality fertilizer also definitely contributes to this. growers are more critical. The focus is on quality and efficiency. By working with good quality products, you can work efficiently and that pays off. Also for fertilizing the land."
