The board of the LTO department Gelderse Vallei threatens to resign completely if there is a meeting next week between LTO chairman Sjaak van der Tak and Prime Minister Rutte plus Van der Wal, Staghouwer and possibly Remkes. If a number of hard requirements are then not adhered to, the department board will give up.
This is apparent from an app message from the board to both the department members and the higher LTO echelons.
"Goodmorning everybody,
We sent the message below to the chairmen of LTO NL, North, region East and West this morning. Also to you this message for information so that everyone is clear how we stand in this.
MESSAGE:
As LTO Gelderse Vallei, we were surprised to hear yesterday's message. After a night's sleep the next. The conversation next week should be about:
- Legalization of pass indicators
- KDW off the table
- No expropriation
- And the time frame 2030
off the table.
- If there is a sequel
conversation comes, then next to
Remkes also a
mediator from the
agricultural sector.
If this is not adhered to, we will stop as a board, because then it will no longer have any added value for us. We also believe that we should put too much energy into defending different points of view.
Greetings board LTO Gelderse Vallei"
Bruins tried to appease
The message follows the sudden news from The Hague yesterday (leaked via RTL) that Van der Tak has allowed himself to be talked into a 'conversation without taboos'. The initial surprise about this was great, but LTO chairman Dirk Bruins tried to assuage the unrest yesterday with his own app message stating that Van der Tak had acted in good coordination with the LTO board.
Bruins: "We are keeping the issue on the right board! Dear department managers, members, this morning Sjaak was called by Prime Minister Rutte with the message that it cannot continue like this and that the cabinet wants to sit down at the table without any preconditions. Sjaak indicated that he first wanted to discuss this proposal internally. After that penetrating phone call, Sjaak spoke with several portfolio holders, department chairmen and the board and we came to the conclusion that we cannot refuse this proposal, but can set conditions for the conversation. because we know that the confidence of our supporters in this cabinet is extremely low and their future is at stake. The conversation is only an exploratory conversation. In other words, is the government prepared to look for real solutions that offer perspective for our If that perspective is not there, LTO will NOT continue in the conversations. The conversation will be held in the presence of 3 members of the of the cabinet, Rutte, van der Wal and Staghouwer. We will take into account whether Mr Remkes is the right man in the exploratory conversation. The cabinet has also established contacts with other representatives of farmers' interests and, of course, we do the same. We have agreed to involve and coordinate our fellow interest representatives as broadly as possible. We are aware that we face the same challenges.
Tonight Sjaak van der Tak will be in Op1 and he will have the opportunity to explain once again that we keep a straight back but are looking for solutions in the interest of a healthy agricultural sector in the Netherlands.
regards
Dirk Bruins"
With this message, it appears that the stocking is certainly not over. Van der Tak and his spokesperson could not be reached for comment at the time of writing this message.
The Nitrogenclaim and NewMob foundations think that's something to do first extended list requirements must be met before a meaningful discussion with the cabinet can take place.

If Sjaak vd Tak is smart, he only sets 2 conditions for Rutte:
The complete Aerius off the table, and the requirement that the colleague representative (FDF) at the table.
Let Rutte arrange this first, then he can prove that he takes the advocates seriously.
If farmers' organizations do not want to participate, they will be decided. LTO was there when everything was tolerated in the past. Perhaps thanks to the backrooms of LTO and politicians, the sector is now in trouble. The shore will turn the ship. Sympathy for farmers with tractors in the wrong places drops to zero.
STOP THE ENTIRE NITROGEN AFFAIRE AND WAIT UNTIL 2030 POSSIBLY 2035 AND THEN MANY FARMERS HAVE DISAPPEARED DUE TO NORMAL ATTRIBUTES OF FARMERS THAT STOP AND TALK AGAIN AT THAT MOMENT. THEN EVERYTHING WILL BE SOLVED AND NO LONGER NITROGEN EXCESS.
If we continue until 2030 and use natural runoff, the state will not have cheap land to build on. So that's never going to happen. Everything revolves around the farmland and the nitrogen is a big excuse. Why is Tata not being tackled and Schiphol? They have no land where houses can stand. Right . Houses and roads that's what this charade is all about, the biggest slacker is our prime minister with his jokers.
