Bart Kemp: Rutte does not want to make any commitments

4 August 2022 - Linda van Eekeres - 4 comments

Agriculture foreman Bart Kemp spoke by telephone with Prime Minister Mark Rutte on Wednesday and Thursday, he says in a statement a video. According to Kemp, the prime minister did not want to make any commitments on four crucial points and he said that he would not do that tomorrow (Friday 5 August) during the conversation led by Johan Remkes.

The four main points for Agractie are: "KDW from the law, legalization of PAS reporters, no forced expropriation and a threshold value according to the TNO advice." Kemp further explains in the video that Rutte has said: "That we may have to put orders away from experts, that it does not have to be Friday, but we still have many months to continue talking, and that he is doing his best to have a real conversation about it." to make."

'Don't let us beep'
This morning Kemp and Rutte spoke again. "Empty-handed, without confidence in the role of Mr Remkes, without any commitments from the cabinet, we cannot enter into discussions with the cabinet at the moment," Kemp said in the video. "I also said that if Mark Rutte wants to offer openings, he can always call. We have an interest in constructive solutions, but we are not going to let ourselves be squealed and let ourselves be steered away."

About the participation of LTO tomorrow, Kemp says: "Sjaak had already promised to attend this meeting tomorrow and will go there with a clear message that he then feeds back to us." When asked, LTO says it will not comment on yesterday's preliminary meeting and that it will also conduct the exploratory meeting tomorrow instead of already doing so through the media. After the consultation, LTO will first provide feedback internally and to the seven parties with whom they held consultations yesterday (in addition to Agractie FDF, DDB, NAV, NMV, NVP and POV).

We are proud of you. Indeed, don't be squealed! Try to calm down the other parties until it is known what the government is really coming up with. Bet on citizen-friendly actions. Give away products and tell your story. Show people that sheep farming next to a nature reserve can not be burdensome . Turn it into a folder with photos and the N calculations. Here you can also show how much comes from abroad and from outside agriculture AND the large RIVM correction factor for the so-called unknown origin. Explain that the measurement factor is still around 25%

I can only say that ALE farmers' organizations have done well when I look at it from the outside, LTO speaks on behalf of all and the rest keep the pressure on the kettle. I just hope that the vegetable sectors will soon be fought as hard
