Remkes talks to dairy about nitrogen and the market

21 September 2022 - Klaas van der Horst - 6 comments

Johan Remkes has been talking with dairy chain parties again since the beginning of this week. In the context of his assignment, he broadened the discussion material by also including the market perspective.

Last Monday, September 19, there were talks with various parties from the dairy industry (together) and with FrieslandCampina (alone), the participating parties report.

Remkes with 3 ministers
Dustin Woodward, Managing Director FrieslandCampina Netherlands (photo) and Hein Schumacher, CEO of FrieslandCampina were present from FrieslandCampina. According to Melkweb of FrieslandCampina, they had a conversation that was mainly about the market perspective. This took place in the presence of the ministers Carola Schouten (LNV), Christianne van der Wal (Nature and Nitrogen) and Micky Adriaansens (Economic Affairs and Climate).

FrieslandCampina has declined previous invitations from Remkes, because it is up to the interests of the primary sector to deal with issues that affect the yard. "As a cooperative company, it is important for FrieslandCampina that, in addition to the input of the other parties in the chain, our sound is also included in the advice," the company states.

RFC less restrained
Chairman Sybren Attema, who was not present, says: "Until now we have been very reluctant, because we believe that it is not up to FrieslandCampina to represent the interests of the entire dairy farming sector. The fact that we have now done so is because it seems that with the departure of Minister Staghouwer, the perspective from the cabinet is still a long way off and Mr Remkes is now looking beyond just nitrogen." FrieslandCampina emphatically denies rumors that the Critical Deposition Value (KDW) was also discussed.

Yes, Remkes has made it happen. He has been able to drive a wedge into the farming collective, and now cleverly plays them apart! Thanks to a few publicly horny dairy factory directors.! Also friends of Natuurmonumenten, the cowards.! What the FDF already feared, has now happened! I puke from these kind of drivers.

Say what you do! And do what you say! I recently read an article to regain trust! From rfc First rfc says we stay away from the debate at remkes! Is up to the farmers! And then they start talking! That is not very believable! I can still remember the phosphate reduction plan that dairy was going to implement for the government! And then rfc the milk reduction plan! This calls itself a cooperative! I just feel like stabbing a knife in the back!

If these big boys want to talk to Remkes , they definitely should . What is important for the sector as a whole and in particular the dairy sector, including FDF, is that they know in advance what they are contributing to such a conversation. I can assume that the directors of LTO and FDF and others have already held these consultations. They must also make use of legal expertise and innovative expertise available from these companies, or be able to purchase them jointly. So does MOB, until the Council of State when regional judges infiltrate and CBS!

there is trust

High, one-sided fascitoid educated The Netherlands agrees without any fundamental depth with their inhuman arrogance as a result of parasitic training memorists.
