The professional jury of the Agribusiness Award 2022 will announce on 27 October which innovations will advance to the final. Every two hours, starting at 10.00am, one finalist will be announced on Boerenbusiness.nl and the associated social media channels.
Over the past few weeks, the independent professional jury consisting of Aalt Dijkhuizen, Pierre Berntsen and Jan Omvlee has once again enjoyed reading and assessing the applications for the Agribusiness Award. All submissions were tested against the criteria and analyzed extensively.
The jury had a lot of work to do with the innovative products and services. "Another year with great registrations", the jury said. "It's good to see that all sectors are well represented this year."
All-deciding pitch day
On November 3, the finalists will have the opportunity to explain their application and present their product live to the jury. It promises to be an exciting day. "The finalists are closer than ever and the winner will therefore really be determined after the pitch," said jury chairman Aalt Dijkhuizen.
The jury pays attention to various criteria in its assessment. The submission must be an ingenious improvement or service, contribute a significant amount to an agri-entrepreneur's business and profitability, be available and proven in the field, and have great potential. After the pitch day, the jury will reconsider and come to a decision. The final winner will be announced in a private event on November 24.
