DDB: Wrong sequence of agricultural agreement consultations
The wrong order is used in the consultations about an agricultural agreement with Minister of Agriculture Piet Adema. First, a number of practical goals are set and finally, it is stated that a start must be made on restoring trust between agriculture and government. This is exactly the wrong order, according to DDB chairman Sieta van Keimpema.

She also doubts the feasibility of a number of market and price agreements that the minister wants to make. The chairman of the Dutch Dairymen Board (DDB) also states that the parties in the agricultural consultations must commit themselves to the goals set by the ministry. The Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality says it will not respond substantively to the consultations about an agreement. Sources around the ministry nuance this. The consultation is chaired by former Rabo director Carin van Huët.
