Vreugdenhil allows milk price to fall at a steady pace
Vreugdenhil Dairy Foods is lowering the milk price for February at almost the same rate as for January. The average supplier still receives more than €56,00 per 100 kilos of milk.

This is evident from the Boerenbusiness Milk price comparator. The basic milk price for February drops by €5,35 to €54,98 per 100 kilos. The same price reduction applies to all other milk prices. The majority of Vreugdenhil suppliers supply meadow milk and receive a higher price for it. This amounts according to the equation of Boerenbusiness €56,48 per 100 kilos. This is also the maximum milk price. Compared to other processors, Vreugdenhil occupies a middle position in terms of price.
Vreugdenhil has not yet determined an organic milk price for February; this one comes later. The organic milk price for January has been determined and amounts to €66,25 per 100 kilos, which according to the Organic milk price calculator van Boerenbusiness is more than €3 below the December price.
All prices are compared to an annual supply of 1 million kilos, excluding VAT and after deduction of contributions for ZuivelNL. In addition, standard levels for fat and protein are used of 4,45% and 3,58% successively.
