Boerenbusiness gets a new editor-in-chief

Wouter Baan will become the new editor-in-chief of the platforms' editorial staff as of January 1, 2024 Boerenbusiness.nl and Foodbusiness.nl. With the exception of a small excursion, 33-year-old Baan has been a member of the editorial team for some time now, where as a specialist he mainly follows the dairy products and (pork) meat markets.

He succeeds Eric de Lijster, who has taken up a new position within DCA MultiMedia, the publisher of Boerenbusiness.nl and Foodbusiness.nl. In this new position, De Lijster will remain closely involved with the editorial team. Baan said in a response that he is looking forward to his new role, in which he will be responsible for editorial articles, market data, videos and podcasts on the websites.
