Farmel sells the activities of Farmel Agricultural Advice to employee Eric Peters from Didam. This will happen on March 1, 2024. Peters will independently continue trading in production rights, animal rights, VVOs and CO2 certificates.
Farmel wants to further focus on dairy trade and processing. With this step, Farmel is giving up one of the company's first activities. It was therefore not an easy decision to say goodbye to this department," said Jan-Henry van der Linde, founder and commercial director of Farmel.
Eric Peters worked at Farmel for more than ten years and was responsible for most of the work at Farmel Agricultural Advice, which he now continues independently. Peters: "I didn't want to pass up the opportunity to take over these activities. I feel personally involved with the livestock farmers with whom we have been working for years. My details remain the same and I assume that we will be able to do this based on performance and continue to do business with confidence."
