CEO Nutreco calls it quits after three years

8 April 2024 - Redactie Boerenbusiness

Fulco van Lede will step down as CEO of Nutreco this summer. He will be succeeded by the American David Blakemore, who comes from subsidiary Trouw Nutrition.

Van Lede is leaving for personal reasons. He was CEO for three years, although he had been employed for much longer at the Dutch animal feed group with a turnover of around €9 billion in 2022. Looking back on this, he continues to feel proud. It is now time to broaden his horizons, he indicates.

His successor Blakemore is currently CEO at Trouw Nutrition and will move up one place in the ranking.
