Animal feed group De Heus will change its management structure from 2025. Koen and Co de Heus will step aside from their respective positions as CEO and will instead become joint chairman of a new board of directors to be formed. Gabor Fluit will take up the position of CEO.
In the current model, De Heus has two administrative bodies, consisting of the executive management and a supervisory board that provides supervision. These will be merged from the new year. The newly formed board of directors will soon include eight people, both executive and non-executive directors.
Koen and Co de Heus will jointly chair this body as non-executive directors. This means that they take a step back from the day-to-day operations of the company. Gabor Fluit will be appointed CEO and, together with Max van der Khaak, will sit on the board of directors as executive directors. Koen and Co de Heus remain explicitly involved in the strategy of the family business, it is stated.
The new CEO comes from within our own ranks and has been involved in developments in Asia in recent years. "We are convinced that he is the right person to guide De Heus to further growth," both brothers indicate.
