New CEO Milcobel will 'turn over every stone'
Dairy cooperative Milcobel appoints Peter Grugeon as its new CEO as of June 1. This after former CEO Nils van Dam immediately resigned earlier this year.
Instead, Milcobel has now opted for an experienced hand in the field. With experience within Greenyard, Puratos and Vandemoortele. After his transition to label company MCC, Grugeon is now returning to the dairy sector.
Chairman Betty Eeckhaut cites the experience of the newly appointed CEO in a statement: "Peter's dairy experience is a strong asset. He understands the challenges facing both the dairy farming and dairy industries today.”
Grugeon says about his approach: ''We must turn over every stone to ensure that we achieve a good bottom-line result and make sufficient profit to effectively offer our members that added value. A market-based milk price is the basis for this.”
