YaraPlus is the new all-in-one platform that bundles all product information, advice modules and other services from the fertilizer manufacturer in one place. Customized fertilization for grass and grain, a handy tank mix module for foliar fertilizers, requesting quotes and ordering fertilizers, the user can find everything in one place. If you wish, you can have your advisor or contractor take a look. And there is even a bonus program.
"Well-founded fertilization is becoming increasingly important, but also more and more complicated. It is useful to find all the necessary information and advice in one place. That was our main motivation for the development of YaraPlus," says marketing manager Peter Arkenbout of Yara Benelux. "It is becoming increasingly important that you get maximum return from your fertilization within the application standards. YaraPlus is a perfect tool for this."
Maximum roughage yield
In addition to extensive information about Yara fertilizers, YaraPlus also offers a number of interesting advice modules for both livestock farmers and arable farmers. The GrassN module provides customized advice for both organic and mineral fertilization of grassland. A growth model calculates the dry matter yield and protein content. Based on this information, the livestock farmer can determine his optimal harvest time. "GrassN helps you to achieve maximum roughage yield," says Arkenbout. "You can enter your yield target with each cut and GrassN calculates the corresponding nitrogen advice."
Fertilization task cards
Arable farmers get access to satellite maps for biomass and nitrogen uptake via the Atfarm module. This information can serve as a basis for 'normal' fertilization advice, but the images are also suitable for creating task maps for location-specific fertilization. If satellite images are missing due to cloud cover, for example, a smart algorithm will estimate crop development. Arkenbout: "That makes Atfarm unique; you won't find this anywhere else." Atfarm is available for grains at the start; other crops will follow later.
Watching
In YaraPlus it is possible to have someone else watch. "That can be quite useful for your fertilizer advisor or your contractor," says Arkenbout. "You decide who you invite and what he or she can see." In addition to the modules mentioned, YaraPlus also provides market information about fertilizers and a handy tank mix module for Yara's foliar fertilizers. This shows which crop protection products can be mixed with and gives practical tips for mixing. Users of Yara fertilizers can also participate in a bonus program. Purchases, including through intermediaries, earn bonus points for various (gift) items.

"After logging in once you can access everything and before you know it you are drawing up fertilizer advice or viewing a satellite map. "I would just give it a try.
