On the physical potato market, the (available) quotations have fallen even further this week, while the processors are struggling with logistical problems, which means that a lot of potatoes are being moved around. From the test harvests that we have as Boerenbusiness have carried out in our Crop Tour shows that the average yield of Innovator is the same as last year, although the variation between the plots is large. In Belgium too, trial harvests show very variable results, mainly depending on the planting date. It makes the 2024 harvest a special year, but for the growers it is still a hard blow.
