In August last year, the company announced that it stops boning pigs in the Oss location. Earlier, the pig slaughter in Geldrop had already been discontinued. Last year, subsidiary Pali Polska was also sold. Partly as a result, turnover fell from almost €602 million in 2023 to over €546 million last year. The consolidated net result rose from €3,97 million to €5,3 million last year. The divestment of activities also reduced the balance sheet by almost €27 million.

The Pali Group will remain active in the cattle trade, calf farming activities and the slaughter of goats. The company will also remain active in the hide trade. In April, it was announced via the municipality of Oost Gelre that the Pali Group is selling the Vitilco Leather branch in Lichtenvoorde to the municipality. The municipality wants to redevelop the Vitelco site for housing and other business activities. This will also put an end to discussions about odour nuisance and the like. However, a spokesperson for the Pali Group indicates that the company will not be leaving the hide trade. "The hides will continue to come. We are now negotiating with a foreign company to set up another sales chain for this together."
