Based on developments in agriculture, a decline is more likely. Nevertheless, slightly more tractors have been registered. The increase is visible at John Deere, Claas, and Deutz-Fahr, while Fendt is losing ground.
In the period from January through April, a total of 970 new tractors were admitted to the Netherlands. That is 20 more than in the same period last year.
GroeNoord Bankruptcy
In February 2025, John Deere dealer GroeNoord filed for bankruptcy. In the course of last year, a number of the branches were taken over by Kraakman. This now partially affects the registrations.
The number of registered John Deere tractors has increased by 19 units to 130. The John Deere 6R 150 with 165 hp is the most registered, with 21 units in the first months of this year.
The largest increase is visible at Claas. 30 more units have been registered, bringing the total to 54. The 205 hp Arion 660 Cmatic is the most in demand, with 10 registrations.
Deutz-Fahr also shows a positive development compared to last year. There are 81 new registrations in the RDW database, 12 more than a year earlier. The Deutz-Fahr 6180 Agrotron TTV is the most common model among them.
Fendt, on the other hand, records a decrease of 32 fewer tractors than last year. The brand does remain the market leader, however. New Holland is in second place and stabilizes the number of registrations within vehicle class T1 at 191 units in the first four months.
