Extension of admission to Laudis and Laudis WG

29 January 2018

The admission of Laudis and Laudis WG has been extended. Until now, both products were allowed to be used once per growing season in maize with a maximum dosage of 1 liters per hectare for Laudis and 2,25 kilos per hectare for Laudis WG.

With the re-registration and expansion, the products can now be applied twice per growing season in half the dose. The maximum dosage per hectare per growing season remains the same. This extension makes it possible to carry out a retreatment against germinating weeds. Laudis may now also be used in sweet corn, Laudis WG was already approved for this.

Both products may now also be used in flax (fibre flax and linseed for seed production). Unfortunately, the application for both products in blue poppy seed was not approved by the Board for the Authorization of Plant Protection Products and Biocides (Ctgb). Laudis WG can now also be used in groundwater protection areas, just like Laudis. Packaging with the old label may be delivered and used indefinitely.

Laudis and Laudis WG in short:

  • Allowed in maize, sweetcorn and flax (fibre flax and linseed for seed production).
  • Dosage and number of uses in maize and sweetcorn for:
    • Laudis, 1 application of 2,25 liters per hectare or 2 applications of 1,125 liters per hectare.
    • Laudis WG, 1 application of 0,5 kg per hectare or 2 applications of 0,25 kg per hectare.
    • Dosage in flax: 1 application of 1,125 liters per hectare of Laudis or 0,25 kilos per hectare of Laudis WG.
    • Both applicable in groundwater protection areas.

Both products can be used twice per growing season and now also in sweet corn and flax.
