Ctgb approves fungicide Ascra Xpro

31 January 2018

The Board for the Authorization of Plant Protection Products and Biocides (ctgb) has granted permission for the application of Ascra Xpro against grain fungi such as leaf spots, rust and DTR. With the arrival of this product, Dutch grain cultivation has a robust fungicide!

Ascra Xpro is the first product based on prothioconazole and no fewer than two SDHIs, bixafen and fluopyram, each from a different chemical group.

Very fast and sufficiently long effect
Fluopyram is new in grains and is the first and only SDHI from the chemical group of the pyridinyl-ethyl-benzamides. Fluopyram has a very fast and also sufficiently long effect.

Bixafen, known from Aviator and Skyway, has a very strong and long-lasting effect against leaf fungi. Both SDHIs are supplemented with prothioconazole in Ascra Xpro.

The combination of these active ingredients provides a unique fungicide with a robust action against leaf fungi. Bet Ascra Xpro on the flag sheet, the so-called T2, for the best result.

Ascra Xpro in brief:

  • Approved in wheat, rye, triticale and spelt.
  • Ensures the highest possible yield.
  • Contains three active ingredients for the best built-in resistance management.
