Spraying technique crucial for the effectiveness of Flipper

3 May 2019

The tests with Flipper show a good effect on aphids, whiteflies, various beetle species and thrips. The contact effect is crucial here. While spraying, check whether the insects are hit well. If this is not the case, adjust the spray nozzle, the position of the spray nozzle or the water volume.

Since there is no systemic effect, it cannot be emphasized enough that spraying technique is crucial for proper operation. Also watch the video below about the working mechanism of Flipper. The product can be used in all agricultural and horticultural crops.

Rules for effective use of Flipper:

  • Make sure that the insects are hit optimally: Flipper has no systemic effect. Contact effect is therefore crucial for effective control.
  • Water quality requirements: water hardness maximum 16,8°dH.
  • Water temperature: less than 10 degrees Celsius.
  • Maintain a concentration of 1%.
  • Water quantity depending on the size of the crop. Check if the water volume is enough to hit all sides of the crop.
  • Start in an early build-up phase of the pest.
  • Apply under fast drying conditions.
