These substances will soon be banned in soy cultivation

9 August 2019

For a number of crop protection products, the application in soy cultivation will be discontinued in 2020. This has to do with the adjustment of the residue group as of 1 January 2020.

As of 2020, soya (can be harvested dry) for the residue group no longer falls under the legumes, but under the oilseeds. This means that the cultivation of soy can no longer be defended for a number of active substances, because the MRL (Maximum Residue Limit) is no longer available. The labels of the following products have been adjusted accordingly:

Prosaro (W9)
Expiration period: 31-12-2019
Delivery term: 10-11-2019

Decis (W16)
Expiration period: 31-12-2019
Delivery term: 24-11-2019

Calypso (W6)
Expiration period: 31-12-2019
Delivery term: 24-11-2019

For Calypso, the entire legume group has been eliminated because of the MRL.
