Phosphate reduction plan 2017 – period 4
Period 4 of the phosphate reduction plan has now started. The month of October again forms the basis for the levy and/or bonus. Because sufficient reduction has been achieved for the time being, the discount percentage for this period will be maintained at 12%.
Many livestock farmers are still surprised by a levy. In many cases this has to do with the number of young stock. In our white paper (Phosphate reduction plan 2017 – period 3) the methodology of the young stock number is explained in more detail. Ask the white paper free of charge.

Various companies have filed summary proceedings against the government or have objected to the reduction plan in some other way. The result of this is that companies that meet the conditions, the so-called light test, are exempt from the phosphate reduction plan.

The Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) has indicated that they will send the decisions for period 30 on September 2017, 3.
