Rich in protein and starch, field beans are an ideal concentrate substitute for livestock. They fit into almost any ration and can provide a substantial reduction in feed costs due to their high yield potential.
Cultivation is also interesting for arable farmers within, for example, regional cycles or for human consumption. Field beans leave a nice stubble and a lot of nitrogen for the next crop! Based on the new CAP and the pursuit of greater self-sufficiency in vegetable protein, the general expectation is that extra premiums and points will soon be earned with this promising crop.
Curious about what winter or summer field beans can mean to your business? Then come to the practical afternoon in your region.
