Plenty of opportunities to apply slurry

While arable farmers carefully went out onto the land last week, contractors and dairy farmers were busy injecting manure. Mainly on grass and arable land.

On the light soil, farmers have planted sugar beets, onions and even early potatoes in the southwest.
