In the foreground the four-cylinder 6175. Behind the six-cylinder version with the same power. A big difference. The four-cylinder engines have the same design.
Deutz surprised with an entirely new series. The 6120, 6130 and 6140 TTV. A compact six-cylinder that is said to replace the 5-series TTV.
The tractor is mainly intended for companies that are looking for luxury but not a large, heavy tractor. In the cabin the 8 inch iMonitor 2 terminal.
The RCShift joystick from the six-cylinder 6-series can also be found in the three new tractors. There is a mechanical or electronic version with 4 or 5 hydraulic valves.
Ex works, Deutz also supplies the tractors with GPS. For that, it purchases systems from Topcon, which it calls Agrosky.
Put a 6-series and a 5-series together in one room. This is probably your result. Deutz also showed a version with a panoramic roof.
Looking at the exhaust with catalytic converter and wheels, it looks a lot like the 5 Series. The cabin is a mix. The tractor lifts 7 tons behind and just under 3 tons at the front.

Deutz-Fahr pimps four-cylinder 6-series

9 May 2017 - Redactie Boerenbusiness

On Monday 8 May, Deutz-Fahr presented 2 new tractor series to their dealers at the factory in Lauingen, Germany. These are tractors with a four-cylinder engine, with which Deutz-Fahr participates in the race for a strong four-cylinder engine.

Odd years are Agritechnica years. This means that manufacturers save the news and only show it to the public at the world's largest agricultural show in Hanover, Germany. Deutz-Fahr is already taking a lead with the introduction of its new four-cylinder tractors. He will show it to the dealers this week.

Emission requirements
The six-cylinder tractors in the 6- and 7-series received an update in mid-2016. This means they meet the Tier 4 Final emission requirements. Deutz seized that moment to also introduce a new design, which continues the line of the large 9-series downwards. It also knocked on the door of the Italians of Giugiaro Design for the four-cylinder.

TTV or RC Shift
The current series consists of 5 models, ranging from the Agrotron 6120.4 TTV to the 6160.4 TTV. According to data published on the internet by some enthusiastic German dealers, they are being replaced by 4 models: 6135.4, 6145.4, 6155.4 and the 6175.4. With this, Deutz raises the power bar a step higher for the four-cylinder. In addition to the TTV CVT transmission, they are also available with a ZF powershift gearbox (RCShift). Naturally, the engine complies with the T4F emission standard.

Three new tractors
It was expected in advance that the brand would introduce a 6C series to complement the popular 120-140 hp class. Deutz surprises with a completely new model. It will be produced after the summer in 3 versions: 6120, 6130 and 6140 TTV. According to data on the internet, they replace the 5 series TTV. Arable customers in particular find this compact tractor too modest. The new 6 should solve that.

Under the characteristically styled hood is a TCD 3.6 engine with SCR (Adblue). The 2 largest models also have a diesel particulate filter (DPF). The T5451 transmission has 2 electronically switchable field/road groups. It is quite luxuriously equipped with the 8 inch iMonitor 2 screen, factory Agrosky GPS and the well-known CShift joystick. Further specifications mentioned on the internet are 7.000 kg lifting capacity at the rear and 2.880 kg at the front, 9.000 max. load, 90L open center hydraulic system with 4 mechanical valves or 110L LS pump with 5 electrically operated valves.
