The plot with Innovators in the Johannes Kerkhovenpolder is 17 hectares and the potatoes are grown in sandy loam soil (photo: 18-05-2018).
All plots are equipped with a Sencrop weather station (photo: 30-05-2018).
Before the potatoes were there, there was alfalfa on the plot (photo: 06-06-2018).
There are 11 hectares of seed potatoes in size 45/55 and 6 hectares in size 35/45 (photo: 06-06-2018).
Although it is dry in the Johannes Kerkhovenpolder, which is located in the far north of Groningen, the Innovators are developing well (photo: 07-06-2018).
In the autumn, 35 tons of goat manure per hectare was applied. Subsequently, a basic fertilization of 19 kilos of nitrogen was applied on 228 April (photo: 07-06-2018).
The potatoes were planted on April 21 and soiled immediately. This was done with a trailed Miedema cup planter (photo: 07-06-2018).
The potatoes are now well above. The emergence of the plants has already been viewed with a drone (photo: 12-06-2018).
