The grass in Jelsum was mowed on 21 July and ensiled on 22 July. According to the participant, this cut was not disappointing in terms of quantity.

The participant Uit Zuidbroek mowed the grass on 27 July. the grass then had a length of about 20 centimeters

The quantity on the plot in Zuidbroek was also not disappointing for a fourth cut. In total 49 hectares have been mowed.

On 28 July, the participant from Zuidbroek pressed the grass into round bales. The yield is 2600 kilos of dry matter per hectare.

The participant from Doetinchem mowed his fields on 28 July.

Over the past few weeks, a number of participants of the Boerenbusiness Roughage tour mowed their lawns for the third or fourth time. Due to the beautiful summer weather, this cut also produces a lot of grass.
