Roughage tour Week 31

Last parcel of corn now also in the plume

3 August 2020 - Redactie Boerenbusiness

Most parcels of the Boerenbusiness Roughage tour have been in the plume for a number of weeks and have already made a big butt. This week a feather has also appeared on the plant on the plot in Zeewolde.

This development does take place a bit late in the year, but the plant is only just 2 meters high and therefore comes to the panicle too early. The fact that the plant has grown so poorly is mainly due to the drought and the fact that it stands on heavy clay that was not easy to work with due to the drought.
