Innovator plot Zeeland spared from damage

The first potatoes are starting to come up now. The plot has an area of ​​4,6 hectares and the potatoes are on clay soil (36% siltable). The plot is not even, in terms of the heaviness of the soil. In the middle of the plot, a 0,5 hectare spot has recently been raised. The plot has an organic matter content of 5,6% and a pH of 7,2.

Activities
The plot was plowed at the end of October. On May 8, a basic fertilizer of 240 kilos of nitrogen per hectare was applied. The planting of the potatoes started in mid-May; this with a cup planter at a distance of 33 centimeters. The ridges were milled on May 23.
