Welcome precipitation on the Marknesse perceel plot

The potatoes on the plot in Marknesse are looking good. There is plenty of flowering and the ridges are completely closed. More and more tubers are forming on the plants and they are already forming well.

The soil on the plot in Marknesse is dry, because there has been little rain in the past month. This week there was 6,9 millimeters, which means that (except for the irrigated plots in Biddinghuizen and Hank) the most precipitation fell compared to the other plots.

Today (Friday 15 June) there will be sprayed for the fourth time against phytophthora. Irrigation will take place around the weekend. There are already 9 tubers on the plant on the plot in Marknesse.
