Rain brings peace to crop tour plots

After a number of weeks of dry weather and last week's rain, it will be quiet on the Crop Tour plots next week. The onions are now grown on all plots, although this is more visible in some plots than in others. 

On the onion plots of the Boerenbusiness Crop tour received between 10 and 20 millimeters of rain last week. The most precipitation fell on Wednesday, April 24, followed by several days of 1 to 1,5 millimeters per day. Since the rain mainly passed over the country in showers, regional differences are visible. The precipitation does reduce the chance of bisexuality.

Hardly any duality
The plot in Kimswerd (Friesland) received 15 millimeters of rainfall last week, of which another 29 millimeters fell on Monday, April 3. The onions are evenly grown on the plot, with hardly any bi-growth. With the growing weather, the potato storage on this plot is also quickly emerging.

Only 10 millimeters of precipitation fell on the plot in Zweeloo (Drenthe). The young plants on the plot look fresh.

Does the rain offer a solution?
The onion plot in Dronten (Flevoland) received 11 millimeters of rainfall. The rain is expected to provide a solution for seeds that have not yet germinated. The onion plot in Zeewolde (Flevoland) received 12 millimeters of rainfall last week. All onions on this plot are expected to be up this week.

Last week, 19 millimeters of rainfall fell on the Crop Tour plot in Tollebeek (Flevoland). It is expected that the dry seed on this plot will germinate quickly.

Seed drop 
The onion plot in Kortgene (Zeeland) received 20 millimeters of rainfall last week. In this plot, most seeds have 1 pipe at the top. In the row there is spotless loss of seed that has not germinated, in some places even up to half a meter long.

About 18 millimeters of rain fell on the onion plot in Oeffelt (North Brabant) last week. Growth is good on the plot and the seeds that were previously dry are also germinating. Due to the rapid growth, the time for spraying has been moved twice.
