Boerenbusiness is an online media company that provides market information for entrepreneurs in the agricultural sector. The content is provided by an editorial team that provides news, analyses, market quotes, interviews, opinions and backgrounds.

Every growing season we monitor ten potato and ten onion plots throughout the Netherlands. From sowing and planting to harvest, we monitor the status of the crop and everything that comes with it in content, data, photos, videos and interviews with the growers. We are looking for an intern who will sink his or her teeth into this project together with us.

Your internship
As an intern you are closely involved in the Crop Tour and you are in contact with the participating growers. You also regularly visit the different plots, monitor crop growth and analyze growers' choices during the season. You then process this data and information into articles Boerenbusiness.NL. In this way you map the potato and onion cultivation in the Netherlands. In addition, you maintain contact with various parties involved and provide support in the organization of the project.

What competencies do you need?

· You are working on an agricultural related higher vocational education.

· You have knowledge of developments in the agricultural sector

· You are social and flexible

· You can keep a good overview

· You like to organize

The location for the internship is Lelystad (Flevoland), but you will also be on the road regularly.
