Crop tour 2024 is looking for growers with Innovator

De Boerenbusiness Dutch Crop tour will also start again in 2024. To strengthen the team of participants, we are looking for several potato growers with the Innovator variety from different regions of the country. We call on growers who would like to share their knowledge and vision on the cultivation of French fries potatoes to respond.

Organized for the sixth year in a row Boerenbusiness de Dutch Crop tour. Here we follow ten plots of potatoes and onions during the growing season, spread throughout the Netherlands. From sowing and planting to harvest. In addition, we monitor the strategy, the activities on the plot and the choices that growers face during the growing season. This concerns the Innovator variety, in order to make a better comparison with other plots of the same variety. The kick-off for the new season is soon, so register if you are interested.

Knowledge sharing
We would like to hear from the participants how things are going during the season through photos, videos and interviews. On the other hand, as a Crop Tour participant you become part of a friendly, but above all educational club of growers and business associates who keep in touch with each other during the growing season, exchange knowledge and meet a number of times for excursions with a snack and a drink.

You will also be loaned a weather station that allows you to monitor the temperature, precipitation, soil moisture and soil temperature of your plot. In addition, participants receive access to all information during participation Boerenbusiness with the Boerenbusiness Unlimited subscription.
