Intern(s) wanted: Participate in the Crop Tour 2025

Are you interested in arable farming and would you like to work on a unique project with a fellow intern? We will soon have Boerenbusiness two internships available in our Gewastour project team. Are you looking for an internship where you can get started practically and also do your own research? Then read on!

Boerenbusiness is the online platform of DCA Market Intelligence, where we provide market information to entrepreneurs in the agricultural sector. Every growing season we follow ten potato and ten onion plots throughout the Netherlands. From sowing and planting to harvesting we follow the state of the crop and everything that comes with it in content, data, photos and videos. We work together with partners and ensure that the Crop Tour is clearly visible on various channels.

Your internship
As an intern, you are part of our project team for the Gewastour 2025. During this internship, you will work on all aspects of the project. You will draw up a project plan together and maintain contact with the 20 participating growers throughout the Netherlands. You will visit them regularly and monitor crop growth. For example, you will carry out trial harvests, calculate the results and process them into articles for BoerenbusinessIn addition, you work on the visibility of the project, including through your own web page on Boerenbusiness.nl and our social media channels. You will also maintain contacts with our commercial partners and help organize events. There is plenty of room to contribute your own ideas and to tailor your internship to your interests.

What do we expect from you?

• You are following an agricultural-related higher professional education course.
• You have knowledge of the agricultural sector.
• You enjoy being involved in a project from A to Z.
• You are in possession of a driver's license
• You are sociable, flexible and can maintain a good overview.
• You are available from January or February 2025. (Another starting date is possible in consultation.)
