Good regrowth in Wezup
In Wezup (Drenthe) it is the turn of the last onion plot of the Crop Tour. The seed onions have been harvested and it is expected that they will remain in place for a while with this week's rainfall. According to onion grower Arjen Jakobs, the field has had good regrowth: "The onions looked ordinary all year round, but the regrowth has more than made up for it. The swaths are nicely full". Jakobs is also satisfied with the size selection: "There is certainly no shortage of size. It is a very coarse batch, the majority is in 60-80 millimeters and onions over 100 millimeters are not exceptional".
