Herbicide spraying on seed onions

The onion growers participating in the Boerenbusiness Cropstour have carried out the first sprayings against weeds on their plots. Time to take a closer look, for example here with a drone on the plot in Wezup.

The herbicide sprays are carried out at the end of the day as much as possible. The water is then warmer, so that the agents in the tank mix better with the water. This improves the ultimate effectiveness of the spraying.

The grower in Wezup uses a trailed Dubex Mentor sprayer. The boom widths go up to 46 meters and the sprayer is pulled by a New Holland TM150.
