In IJsselmeer polders

More than 830 hectares of leased land on offer

29 September 2017 - Bart-Jan van Zandwijk - 1 reaction

On Friday 29 September, the Central Government Real Estate Agency (RVB) announced that it will offer 39 plots in the IJsselmeerpolders for deregulated lease. This concerns a total of approximately 836 hectares of land with an agricultural destination.

The lots on offer are located in the Noordoostpolder, in the south and east of Flevoland and in the Wieringermeer. The land is currently mainly used as arable land.

Fewer lots than reported
In August made the RVB announced that it would involve more than 1.000 hectares of agricultural land, which would amount to 43 lots. That number has now been reduced to 39 lots with a total of 836 hectares.

The number of plots has been reduced because the Central Government Real Estate Agency still had a number of current contracts with Staatsbosbeheer. These are plots in the south of Flevoland. These lots are now being offered by public tender after the end of the contracts.

End of October closing date
Bids can be made on the lots through public registration. Registration closes on Tuesday, October 31 at 12:00 PM. The new leased lands will take effect on 1 December 2017 and the issuance period varies per lot and is between 2 and 6 years.

If I am well informed, there is no contract at all between Staatsbosbeheer and Rijksvastgoedbedrijf... but the contracts of the current tenants are not good. So we are again sent with a clod in the reeds.....
